The Marinetterrein is a car-free zone*.
When visiting Kanteen25 by car, we recommend you one of two parking lots:
Parking Centrum Oosterdok Oosterdokkstraat 150 1022ADAmsterdam
Interparking IJ-oever Centrum Vriesseveem 9 1019GM Amsterdam
From either parking lot, it is a ten minute walk to Kanteen25.
There are two access points to the Marineterrein if you travel by bicyle or by foot:
From Central Station
Go along the Oosterdokskade towards NEMO Science Museum.
Pass the public library and when you reach the bend in the road, take the Commandants Bridge to your right to cross the water to the Marineterrein. Go past Hanneke’s Boom and MediaMatic and take the first bridge to your right.
At the end of the bridge, stay right, go past Scheepskameel until you reach Kanteen25 on your left.

Access the Marineterrein at Kattenburgerstraat 5
Go past Pension Homeland and take the first path to your left to stay next to the water.
Follow the path as it leads right and you will see Kanteen25 ahead of you.
Tram 26. Stop: Muziekgebouw BIMHuis
Head in the direction of Central Station and take the staircase down.
At the bottom of the stairs, turn left and take the corner left to walk past the Klimmuur.
Go past MediaMatic and take the first bridge to your right. At the end of the bridge, stay right, go past Scheepskameel until you reach Kanteen25 on your left.
Bus 22 | 48. Stop: Kattenburgerstraat
Access the Marineterrein at Kattenburgerstraat 5
Go past Pension Homeland and take the first path to your left to stay next to the water. Follow the path as it leads right and you will see Kanteen25 ahead of you.
Amsterdam Central Station
Go along the Oosterdokskade towards NEMO Science Museum. The Marineterrein is a car-free zone and the taxi will drop you off at the entrance from where you can walk 400m to the entrance of Kanteen25.
